I'd like to start off by saying Captives has meant more to me than I could ever express with words. I never dreamed I would experience the things I have or accomplish the things we have through this band. I'm overwhelmed by the support and love we have been shown for the past several years, particularity by complete strangers. The music we've written has helped me through some difficult times in my life, but what's more is we've been told that our music has helped others as well, which was the whole point of this band to begin with. But like all good things it has to come to an end. We're disbanding indefinitely. All of us are still very good friends, and this parting is in no way the result of conflict. Due to certain circumstances, we feel if we were to continue at this point we would be compromising the integrity of the band, which is the last thing we want to do. I myself know I will continue writing music, so keep an eye out for a new project in the coming months.

We have two new songs that we recorded while on tour this summer that we will be releasing via Ronald Records on limited discography CD's and Cassettes. The pre-orders are live now at the following link:

We'd like to thank you all one last time. We appreciate you more than you know. Thanks for everything.
